Assistant Manager, Content – Aspen Snowmass
The Assistant Manager, Content supports Aspen Skiing Company’s storytelling by creating and curating compelling visual content that reflects the beauty, culture, and experiences of Aspen Snowmass’ four mountains.
Base Pay Range $60,000 – $70,000 per year. Actual pay will be dependent on budget and experience; all salaried roles are eligible for bonus.

Key Responsibilities
Capture and edit original photo and video content related to Aspen Snowmass’ four mountains, events, and community activations.
Draft engaging copy for social media, blogs, email, and digital channels that aligns with brand tone and storytelling priorities.
Support maintenance of content calendars across channels (Instagram, TikTok).
Collaborate with creative and social teams to ensure content quality, consistency, and alignment with brand strategy.
Help maintain project organization in Figma and Asana to support cross‑functional workflows and content tracking.
Support the Influencer team in vetting creators, athletes, and ambassadors for partnerships; review briefs and deliverables; provide creative feedback to ensure content aligns with brand standards and campaign objectives.
Contribute to the content library, ensuring assets are properly tagged, archived, and accessible.
Support seasonal campaign content needs, including photo/video shoots, asset collection, and post‑production, as appropriate.
Conduct interviews and gather stories from employees, athletes, and guests to highlight the culture of Aspen.
Assist in the development of short‑form video (Reels, TikTok) that captures real‑time moments and behind‑the‑scenes storytelling.
Monitor content performance and provide insights to guide future storytelling efforts.
Support on‑site coverage of key events, races, concerts, and festivals.
Ensure all content reflects brand positioning, values, and adventurous spirit.
Qualifications Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Digital Media, or a related field.
1–3 years of content creation experience, preferably in hospitality, tourism, outdoor, or lifestyle industries.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Must be a strong/expert skier or snowboarder.
Proficient copywriting and storytelling skills with the ability to adapt tone across platforms.
Proficiency in photography, videography, and editing software (Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Lightroom, etc.).
High aesthetic sensibility and attention to detail in both visual and written content.
Familiarity with social media platforms, content scheduling tools, and digital best practices.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast‑paced, seasonal environment without sacrificing quality.
Collaborative, creative, and resourceful, with a passion for the mountain lifestyle and hospitality.
Proficient knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
Ability to plan, manage, and execute projects within scope and deadlines.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
Ability to stand, type, and sit at a desk/computer for most of the work shift executing repetitive movements.
No adverse or hazardous conditions.
Preferred ability to occasionally lift, push or pull 25 lbs. individually or with assistance.
