Lifecycle Marketing Manager

role sits on the Vacation Rental Supply Marketing team in the Travel Partnerships and Advertising division of Expedia Group. This team drives partner engagement, performance, and retention across the Vrbo marketplace. In this role, you will lead strategic lifecycle initiatives focused on partner growth and retention, optimizing always‑on programs and embedding lifecycle hooks into broader campaigns. Your work will complement acquisition and onboarding efforts by acting as a connective and optimization layer across the full partner journey.

In This Role You Will

Own and evolve automated lifecycle communications with minimal guidance, partnering with Marketing Ops to implement segmentation and personalization strategies.

Develop and lead a testing roadmap, experimenting with timing, sequence, and CTAs to optimize performance.

Serve as a lifecycle strategy resource to VR campaign leads, ensuring lifecycle touchpoints are aligned with broader campaign goals and messaging.

Lead partner journey audits from acquisition through win‑back, identifying friction points and actionable improvements.

Build and maintain a Lifecycle Funnel Dashboard in partnership with Analytics, tracking conversion, activation, churn, retention, and reactivation metrics.

Translate insights into strategic recommendations and scalable lifecycle campaigns that drive measurable impact.

Influence roadmaps and cross‑functional planning across teams including Product Marketing, Digital Operations, and Product, ensuring lifecycle strategies are embedded in broader initiatives.

Represent lifecycle marketing in key forums, shaping broader marketing strategies and advocating for initiatives that improve partner experience and business outcomes.

Experience and Qualifications

5+ years of experience in lifecycle or B2B marketing, with a proven ability to drive performance improvements.

Strategic lifecycle expertise, including the ability to create and execute marketing plans that align with business goals, optimize partner engagement, and deliver measurable impact.

Skilled at translating data into insights and scalable, data‑driven solutions.

Cross‑functional leadership, with experience influencing stakeholders across product, analytics, marketing operations, and creative teams to drive alignment and execution.

Strong communication and relationship‑building skills, able to tailor messaging for diverse audiences and build trusted partnerships with stakeholders.

Ability to lead integrated initiatives, manage timelines and resources, and identify strategic growth opportunities.
