Senior Email & Retention Marketing Manager
About the Role In this role, you’ll own the strategy, execution, and performance of our email and SMS marketing campaigns, with a focus on converting new leads and reactivating lapsed customers on our list. You’ll be deeply hands‑on in Klaviyo and Attentive, leveraging segmentation, personalization, and experimentation to drive results. Reporting to our VP of Lifecycle & Subscriber Growth, you’ll have the opportunity to flex your strategic and creative muscles—contributing to copy, concepts, and design for campaigns.
What You’ll Do
Plan, build, and optimize promotional email & SMS campaigns using Klaviyo and Attentive
Develop segmentation strategies and A/B tests to maximize engagement & conversion
Own campaign reporting and performance analysis, turning insights into action.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with creative, growth, and product teams to align messaging, timing, and promotional strategies
Concept and write email/SMS copy with an understanding of voice, tone, and brand positioning
Design lightweight email graphics or templates in Figma and troubleshoot basic HTML/CSS for email formatting
Monitor deliverability, list health, compliance, and performance metrics
Who You Are
3–5 years of experience in email and retention marketing, with hands‑on experience in Klaviyo and Attentive (or comparable tools)
Strong grasp of HTML/CSS for email development and troubleshooting
Basic‑to‑intermediate proficiency in Figma for light design and layout creation
Analytical mindset—you love digging for trends and using data to prove out your ideas
Strong project management skills and attention to detail
Excellent communicator and collaborator
Experience working at a DTC brand (especially on Shopify).
Experience working with Klaviyo, Attentive, reCharge (or similar tools) is a plus
