About Hugspace
Hugspace.org is a nonprofit organization that provides a digital warmline – a peer-led, multilingual space for free, stigma-free emotional support. Our trained volunteers offer active listening and real-time emotional presence for individuals navigating stress, loneliness, displacement, or trauma. We center empathy, accessibility, and cultural relevance – especially for immigrants, refugees, and trauma-exposed communities.
What You’ll Do:
- Website Content & Basic Development (Squarespace)
- Squarespace Editing: Update website content, manage existing pages, and potentially add new pages for events, volunteer opportunities, or payment systems
- Basic Web Development (JavaScript): Implement pre-screening forms on the Squarespace website with geographic validation using JavaScript before redirecting to Setmore
- User Experience (UX): Understand of user-friendly design to ensure ease of use for clients booking appointments and volunteers accessing information
- Website Analytics & Performance Management - Web Producer
- Google Analytics 4 Administration: Set up and configure GA4 for hugspace.org, implement conversion tracking for appointment bookings, and monitor user behavior patterns
- Squarespace Analytics Integration: Connect GA4 with Squarespace for comprehensive site performance monitoring and SEO optimization
- Search Console Management: Manage Google Search Console for site visibility, keyword performance, and technical SEO issues
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor website speed, mobile responsiveness, accessibility compliance, and user experience metrics
- Geographic Traffic Analysis: Understand client geographic distribution patterns to inform service delivery and marketing decisions
What You’ll Need:
- Experience in Basic Web Development
- Knowledge of Website Analytics & Performance Management
- Self-motivation and problem-solving skills
- Passion for nonprofit work and Hugspace’s mission
- Proficiency in English, knowledge of Ukrainian or Russian is a plus
