CHA’s bridge team is recognized as a leading innovator in the industry. We are at the forefront of bridge design, developing solutions that reduce cost and maintenance and utilize accelerated bridge construction (ABC) techniques to minimize road closure impacts. As a Bridge Design Build Project Manager, you will work to complete projects within scope, budget, and schedule while thoroughly understanding project risks and financial measures. This senior, client-facing role manages the overall client relationship, including technical, financial, or logistical issues. The position requires strong problem-solving, adaptability, and the ability to stay calm under pressure, with a dual role of seller and doer. You will identify target market areas, develop marketing plans, and communicate updates to clients, management, and project teams. You will prepare for and attend monthly project review meetings with operations and help set visions and strategies for other Project Managers while supporting the professional development goals of team members. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required; Master’s degree preferred Professional Engineer License (PE) required Minimum of 10 years progressive engineering experience; minimum of 8 years of project management experience Experience with MassDOT, CTDOT, and/or RIDOT required Strong design-build experience required Expert knowledge of the respective engineering discipline with a proven ability to apply best practices Advanced proficiency with engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.) Understands QA/QC procedures and basic business practices and laws related to engineering Ability to demonstrate leadership skills and effectively work in a collaborative environment; proven ability to lead a team Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to various audiences Proficiency with MS Office software required Active role in a professional engineering society/organization preferred Experience preparing proposals, project plans, extra work authorizations and project closeout documents for projects Demonstrated experience in managing client relationships Experience understanding and interpreting client contract requirements Ability to track and oversee multiple projects Experience utilizing problem-solving skills, exercising discretion, and making independent judgments Experience managing project accounting processes including budgeting, forecasts, and cash management Knowledge of Deltek Vision preferred Knowledge of MS Project and/or Primavera P6 preferred Ability to travel as needed Salary Range

$131,000 - $161,500 Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards. Culture / EEO Statement
