Anchor/Reporter at Fox Television Stations A key anchor and reporter role that combines on‑air leadership with investigative reporting for Fox Television Stations. Overview Of The Company Fox TV Stations owns and operates 29 full‑power broadcast television stations in the U.S., including 18 affiliates with the FOX Network. The stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week and serve 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). They leverage viewer, distributor and advertiser demand for FOX Network’s national content and provide industry‑leading sports, entertainment and syndicated programming. Job Description Candidate must have proven and consistent experience as a Reporter and Anchor. Responsibilities include oversight of newscasts; producing, writing and performing scripts and stories for all channels; enterprise news stories and segments; and versatility as a writer, storyteller and broadcaster on the anchor desk, online and in the field. Candidate must have strong editorial knowledge and the ability to produce that information for all platforms. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism or Communications required. Three (3) to five (5) years of television news experience in a medium to major market with proven anchoring and reporting abilities. Newsroom leader who communicates clearly and concisely. Solid news judgment, strong writing skills and live studio/field performance skills required. Strong knowledge of legal and ethical parameters for broadcast and digital media is essential. Proficiency using social media a must. Strong working knowledge of the technical aspects of television news production required, including digital and web‑based tools. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
