Job Description

  • Plan, design, and execute usability tests across websites, mobile apps, and prototypes, adapting methods to local markets.
  • Recruit, screen, and coordinate participants ensuring research reflects relevant user groups and cultural contexts.
  • When bilingual ability is present, facilitate moderated and unmoderated sessions in Korean or Japanese, support translation, and interpret cultural nuances.
  • Analyze and synthesize findings into clear, actionable insights; deliver reports, readouts, and presentations that influence product, design, and business decisions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, developers, and business stakeholders to align research outcomes with strategic goals.
  • Advocate for user needs and cultural context throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring research insights are embedded in decision‑making.
  • Present and defend research findings and milestones to peers, executives, and stakeholders with clear communication.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and communicate actionable product solutions rooted in research evidence.
  • Socialize findings across teams to promote a user‑centric culture and strengthen research adoption.
  • Build competitive intelligence by monitoring industry benchmarks, emerging technologies, and e‑commerce trends across APAC markets.

Qualifications

  • Ability to be a hands‑on contributor and take initiative in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time‑management skills.
  • Excellent collaboration skills across design, research, product management, engineering, and other functions.
  • Solid communication and presentation skills.
  • Preferred: Bilingual in Korean or Japanese with translation and cultural interpretation capabilities for business purposes.

Compensation

Salary range: $69,850 – $125,525 annually.
