Minimum Requirements

  • BS degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business Administration preferred, but not required; 1 year minimum experience in a similar role.
  • Will possess organizational skills, be proficient in writing, editing, grammar, and composition.
  • Proactive planning, critical thinking, and problem solving skills.
  • Must also possess the skills to manage marketing personnel in region, and all marketing related communications and public relations strategies.

Summary of Responsibilities and Duties

The position of Marketing Coordinator is responsible to coordinate, develop and produce various internal and external marketing related deliverables and services. Those duties will include, but not be limited to, creating qualification packages, responding to requests for proposals, coordinate community service projects, develop marketing collateral in support of the strategic marketing plan and deliverables.

Essential Functions

  • Participate in weekly Procurement meetings and prepare reports and minutes.
  • Assist in upkeep and development of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software program including proactive upkeep of the proposal database.
  • Assist in the preparation of deliverables for project presentations, interviews, recruiting and other similar events.
  • Coordination and production of project specific and non-project specific marketing materials and deliverables.
  • Maintenance of project historical data as necessary and used in development of proposals and qualification statements.
  • Assist in research for background on project leads, and other strategic initiatives related to project pursuits.
  • Format and compose correspondence from drafts and/or general directions.
  • Coordinate and maintain photography for all phases of projects as needed for use in marketing materials.
  • Create, coordinate, and maintain stock of widely used marketing and promotional materials.
  • Assist in development of materials for use in social media and other approved media.
  • Preparation and involvement in networking events, industry related trade shows, and recruiting opportunities.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to design, write and produce a variety of high-quality marketing materials for internal and external customers.
  • Advanced knowledge of construction industry terminology, standards, and practices. Familiarity with CMAR, JOC, and Design/Build procurement processes is a plus.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, Client Relationship Manager (CRM) and Digital Asset Management (DAM) Software.
  • Excellent organizational skills, creativity, and high attention to detail while establishing and ensuring deadlines for timely completion of all marketing deliverables and activities.
  • Ability to best use teams and organizational systems to ensure proper management of all marketing initiatives and goals.
  • Provide training as necessary to marketing team members.
  • Maintain a high standard of ethical behavior in all business dealings.
  • Accept the responsibility to manage FCl’s resources and own personal behavior with proper regard to the rights of others.
  • Strong visual storytelling skills, ability to turn complex ideas into engaging content.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Design and produce visually engaging marketing content.
