Fox TV Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S., located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas (DMAs) and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago). 18 of these stations are affiliated with the FOX Network. The stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news each week, leveraging viewer, distributor, and advertiser demand for the FOX Network’s national content.
Job Description
KRIV FOX 26 / KTXH My20, the FOX Duopoly in HOUSTON, TX, is re‑imagining how local news is gathered and delivered. We are looking for a photojournalist and content creator with a passion for creativity and ingenuity. You will cover breaking news, severe weather, and gather compelling video and interviews, while helping us deliver great content on our streaming platform, website, and social media pages. The role requires 24/7 content delivery through live content or channels like Slack to meet audience needs. You may work independently or partner with a reporter for content creation, including live voice‑overs or occasional on‑camera appearances. You must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in medium‑to large markets, but all forms of photographer/editing work are considered. You must be willing to work early mornings, late‑night shifts, weekends, and holidays, be available for travel, and have a valid driver’s license. Houston experiences year‑round high impact weather events and newsroom staff must be available to work on site or in the field when scheduled.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate for this role is $30.00–33.00 per hour. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
