  • Validate warranty claims for RF‑related equipment and determine service vs. billable scope.
  • Support project‑to‑service handovers, ensuring RF systems are documented, validated, and stable before entering warranty or contract support.

  • Document testing results, coverage maps, and client‑facing reports.
  • Ensure systems comply with FCC, NFPA, and local jurisdiction requirements.
  • Serve as the RF subject‑matter expert for internal customer discussions on performance issues, system upgrades, and SLA compliance.
  • Provide technical recommendations to enhance client systems and prevent recurring failures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Telecommunications, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years’ experience in RF engineering, preferably with DAS and public safety systems.
  • Hands‑on expertise with test equipment: spectrum analyzers, PIM testers, OTDR, and RF sweep tools.
  • Familiarity with major DAS platforms (CommScope, ADRF, Corning, Solid, etc.) and public safety radio standards.
  • Strong knowledge of FCC regulations, NFPA code, and AHJ compliance requirements.
  • Ability to interpret RF design documents, iBwave files, and coverage maps.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in client‑facing roles.
  • High attention to detail, focusing on SLA compliance and service quality.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to train, mentor, and support junior technicians.
