About the Role

Tech Army, LLC is looking for an experienced Technical Writer responsible for creation and maintenance of IT documentation. The role translates technical and complicated information into clear, concise documents appropriate for a variety of target audiences.

Responsibilities

• Produce a wide variety of technical publications including instructional materials, technical manuals, product documentation, and other related documents for use by the IT and business community.
• Interview subject matter experts and technical staff to collect information, prepare written text, and coordinate layout and material organization.
• Research information such as drawings, design reports, equipment and test specifications to fill any gaps.
• Work with Development, Quality Assurance and Technical Support teams to produce consistent publications.
• Coach more junior staff as needed.

Essential Position Functions

• Advanced professional level role working on several moderately complex to complex document management projects as a project team member.
• Candidate will be required to perform other job‑related duties as required.
