The Role

As Social Media Intern you would be working closely with our Social Media Manager to produce meaningful and eye-catching content for our online community. This role is perfect for someone who loves storytelling, has a sharp eye for trends, and wants hands-on experience in social media marketing. You will work closely with the Social Media Manager and greater marketing team to create engaging content to strengthen our community and build our brand presence online.

What You'll Do

  • Assist in planning, creating, and posting social media content across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, etc.)
  • Support with building out posts, captions, and stories that align with brand voice
  • Help monitor social media channels, engage with followers via comments and DMs across social channels, and track community interactions
  • Monitor and moderate user-generated content and ensure it aligns with company guidelines
  • Travel around the greater Wasatch Valley to assist the Social Media Manager in capturing iPhone content
  • Organize and maintain social media content (photos, videos, graphics, etc.)
  • Collaborate with team members during shoots and brainstorming sessions
What You'll Need
  • Currently pursuing or graduated from a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field (or equivalent experience 1-2 years)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Passion for social media, digital trends, and storytelling
  • Basic knowledge of content creation tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut, AdobeRush, Meta and other video editing apps)
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and willing to learn in a fast-paced environment
About the Opportunity
  • This is a full-time position, 30-40 hours per week.
  • This is an on-site position. Office location (Midway/Kamas/Springville) will be directed by the Social Media Manager as needed.
  • The schedule is Monday to Friday, though some weekend work may be required for scheduled company events.
