Job Description General Summary Accounts for all aspects of videoconferencing which include setup and maintenance of videoconferencing equipment, maintenance of online video conferencing server, updating all necessary software as needed, interacting with hospital staff and outside sites to ensure seamless videoconferencing sessions. This position will also be responsible for providing support for all medical and administrative meetings as needed.
Essential Job Functions
Accounts for all videoconferencing hardware in Conference rooms at Lurie Children's and at remote locations.
Maintains and updates online RMX software.
Provides instruction and training to medical center staff on the use of videoconferencing.
Maintains an online recorded database of meetings and events.
Collaborates with Operating Room (OR) staff as needed to videoconference live surgeries to local and remote locations.
Makes recommendations for equipment upgrades and or maintenance.
Provides Audiovisual (AV) support for ongoing meetings at the Medical Center.
Performs job functions adhering to service principles with customer service focus of innovation, service excellence and teamwork to provide the highest quality care and service to our patients, families, co-workers and others.
Other job functions as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered in lieu of the degree when the experience has been directly related to the functions of the job.
Minimum of 3 years of Videoconferencing experience required.
Demonstrated advanced computer skills.
Must be proficient with both Windows and Mac platforms.
Prior experience with Polycom/Video-conferencing devices and hardware.
Possess working knowledge of general Audio Visual equipment.
Strong communication skills.
Strong customer service skills in order to work with a diverse employee population
Education Pay Range $26.25-$42.92 Hourly
