A major client of ours has a need for a Data Center Infrastructure Designer with experience in the physical layer design and project management of Hyperscale Data Center Facilities.
This is a permanent, remote opportunity. Travel once a month for 1-2 nights.
Salary - $130K - $40K
Experience:
Outside Plant Duct Bank and Fiber Design
Inside Plant Base Building Fiber and Copper Distribution Design
Data Center Facility Meet Me Room, MDF, IDF, Rack Elevation, distributed diverse and redundant Infrastructure Design
The ability to coordinate with Controls, Electrical, Mechanical, Security, and Network teams on the associated IT infrastructure required to support their systems.
Facility Conduit and Conveyance Design with capability of providing Cable tray and Basket tray Design with load calculations and fill ratios.
White floor Data Center space Conduit and Multi-Tier Conveyance Design capability.
Rack Elevations identifying the physical layer components, terminations, enclosures, cable management, and patch cable management for AI Liquid Cooled and Non-AI standard Data Center Fit outs.
Revit and BIM360 skill-set is required with the capability to generate detailed design drawings for issuance.
Ability to generate Division 27 specifications.
Understanding of general Data Center Infrastructure requirements to provide customers with industry trends and best practices associated with the physical layer.
