Job Description:

AbbVie Neuroscience & Eye Care is comprised of several areas covering Migraine, Psychiatry, Parkinson’s Disease, and Eye Care. This role supports Botox Therapeutics across areas in Migraine, Spasticity, Movement Disorder and Urology. As Associate Director, Marketing Analytics, Botox Therapeutics, you will elevate, develop, and deploy analytic solutions based on business needs to support the continuous growth of Botox TX in the US and pull through brand strategy and tactics at a national and sub‑national level.

Primary objectives: ensure successful development and execution of the analytical plan, articulate actionable recommendations, and derive strategic and financial implications from findings to support business performance at the account, physician, and patient level.

Major Responsibilities

Develop and deploy rigorous analytical methods to create claims‑based market maps, transactional journeys, treatment patterns/pathways, and insights into patient and HCP behavior.

Collaborate with Brand Analytics to understand patient flow models and work with finance/forecasting to inform LRP and plans.

Design fact‑based promotional investment strategies and drive marketing mix business‑optimization decisions to influence growth and inform annual financial forecasting.

Establish near‑term KPIs and long‑term ROI metrics to guide recommendations for optimizing personal and non‑personal promotional channels.

Contribute to financial planning, providing input and forecasting support for monthly estimates, annual plans, and long‑term deliverables.

Analyze sub‑national drivers of cross‑brand performance to enhance granularity across distribution channels and customers, including field‑force structure.

Apply innovative analytic models that balance cost, risk, and business impact against technical criteria such as reliability and predictability.

Lead a high‑performing, diverse analytical team, coaching and maintaining a culture of insight extraction and business outcome focus.

Partner with cross‑functional teams to deliver integrated analytics, and manage external contract support and suppliers to enhance modeling capabilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in marketing, sales, quantitative analysis; advanced degree preferred.

12+ years of quantitative sales/marketing analysis experience, including business planning and strategy; pharmaceutical/biotech experience required; 3+ years of leadership experience.

Strong analytical reasoning, business acumen, and creative problem‑solving abilities; experience with analytics/machine‑learning methods.

Experience with buy‑and‑bill pharma business models and distribution channels is a plus.

Familiarity with third‑party pharmaceutical data sources (e.g., IQVIA, SHS, Specialty pharmacy data) and analytic domains such as promo optimization, digital, launch support.

Hands‑on expertise in machine learning, BI tools, and advanced data analytics.

Excellent communication, influencing, project management, and vendor‑management skills.

Ability to collaborate effectively within a matrixed organization and operate under tight timelines.
