As a Communications Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic communication plans that effectively promote our mission, programs, and initiatives. Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies to promote the organization’s mission and objectives. Create and manage engaging content for social media platforms, website, and newsletters to enhance audience engagement. Collaborate with internal teams to gather information and create effective messaging for various programs and initiatives. Monitor and analyze communication trends and metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly. Assist in organizing events, workshops, and other promotional activities to increase visibility and community involvement. Support media relations efforts by drafting press releases, building media lists, and facilitating interviews. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field. Proven experience in communications or marketing, preferably in a nonprofit or related environment. Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to adapt tone for different audiences. Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools, as well as content management systems. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under deadlines. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Benefits
