Adjunct instructors in Music and Arts may teach the following introductory courses at either the Beren Campus in Midtown Manhattan or the Wilf Campus in Washington Heights: Sense of Music Music History - introductory level Art History - introductory level Position Responsibilities:
- Teach in person up to 2 courses per semester
- Office hours, minimal 2 hours weekly
- Locations: Wilf Campus (185th St & Amsterdam Avenue) and/or Beren Campus (33rd St & Lexington Avenue)
- Attend 2 in-person professional development sessions per semester (one prior to the semester, one during the semester)
- Submit mid-semester progress reports on each student
- Complete course Assessment reports
- Utilize university instructional systems and record systems, including Canvas, Starfish (Yeshiva Success Network), and Banner
- Master's degree in related field required; PhD preferred
- For business subjects, experience applying knowledge in real-world business environment required
- Experience in teaching required
