Director - Accounting Advisory (Media & Entertainment) Job at Century Group in L

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Accounting Advisory Director to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $175,000 to $200,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead project teams and manage engagements for clients ranging from Fortune 500 to startups.
• Interact with clients and their auditors, providing expert guidance on technical accounting issues.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure high levels of service and satisfaction.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation related to financial reporting and advisory work.
• Support business development initiatives by identifying opportunities and contributing to proposals.

Requirements:

• Possess at least 8+ years of experience in public accounting or industry accounting/finance.
• Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting standards.
• Bring expertise in revenue recognition, production costs, and ASC 926.
• Show a successful track record of working in the Media & Entertainment industry.
• Display a proactive approach to solving client issues and delivering tailored solutions.

Qualifications:

• A background in audit, assurance, or accounting within the entertainment and media space.
• Communicate effectively through excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Apply meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of financial reporting.
