As a Security Professional - Media Facility Patrol in West Chester, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. - Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior spaces and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
- Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions within the tech, media, and telecom environment.
- Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required.
- Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding daily activities, incidents, and any security-related matters encountered during the shift.
- Collaborate with Allied Universal management and client representatives to address site-specific needs and support a secure environment.
- Availability across various days and shifts
- Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
- A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
- Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
- Supervisory experience is required.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
