As a **Security Guard - Media Facility Patrol** in **New York, NY** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech and media environment, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Mon08:00 AM - 06:00 PM Tue08:00 AM - 06:00 PM Wed08:00 AM - 06:00 PM Thur08:00 AM - 06:00 PM **What You'll Do:**

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

**Responsibilities:**

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any unusual conditions.
• Monitor the premises for security-related concerns, reporting any suspicious activity or hazards as observed.
• Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and/or site contacts regarding incidents, issues, or requests.
• Support the overall security-related operations at the location, adapting to the unique needs of a technology and media environment.

**Minimum Requirements:**

• A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
