As a **Security Officer - Unarmed Media Patrol** in **Colorado Springs, CO** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you conduct routine patrols and interact with employees and visitors. • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

**Responsibilities:**

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, adapting to various working environments and conditions as needed.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a visible presence and observing the surroundings.
• Document and report any unusual activity or incidents according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and team members to address inquiries and provide assistance.

**Minimum Requirements:**

• A valid state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• A valid Guard Card is preferred.
• Current CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
