As a **Security Professional - Tech Media Patrol** in **Austin, TX** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic technology environment, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

**Responsibilities:**

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business premises and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards within the location, following established protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of activities, incidents, and/or observations as required by site policies.
• Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and client staff to support a secure environment.
• Assist with access control procedures, verifying credentials and monitoring entry points as directed by site guidelines.
• Support Allied Universal and client management in carrying out additional security-related duties as assigned.

**Minimum Requirements:**

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
