Marketing Business Analyst: Data-driven Growth Specialist (37502) Task Impetus Inc.

A marketing business analyst analyses sales funnels and customer intent, measures the performance of online and offline campaigns, and reports on marketing KPIs such as leads, conversion rates, website traffic, and social media engagement. Marketing Business Analysts develop marketing plans by gathering data, analyzing market trends, creating surveys, evaluating feedback, generating reports, detecting profitable markets, and proposing solutions to increase profit.

Responsibilities

Manage cross-sell efforts, including optimizing placements and using Omniture to create performance reports.

Work with management to establish ROI analysis on distribution marketing funds.

Conduct complex financial ROI valuation, business, and operations analysis to provide final approvals.

Coordinate with business and technology teams to refine requirements and translate business goals and KPIs into technical specifications and reporting requirements.

Obtain, document, and track business requirements to develop automated applications that meet business priorities.

Attend daily project meetings while documenting decisions and tracking issues to ensure resolution.

Create functional design specifications for system implementations, integrations, and enhancements.

Perform functional testing.

Maintain project documentation.

Drive the usage of proven problem‑solving techniques.

Coach and mentor employees.

Provide daily reporting on activity.

Break down national trends and opportunities to drive improvements.

Collaborate with operations leadership to implement improvements discovered from analysis.

Provide resource planning by interval, based on forecast and seasonal impacts.

Qualifications

BBA or MBA degree required.

Strong communication skills and collaborative spirit to communicate complex analytical endpoints in easily digestible formats.

Ability to cultivate positive relationships with leaders and present to multiple levels within the organization.

Experience with Microsoft Office applications, especially PowerPoint.

Ability to learn quickly and solve problems.
