Connect Staffing is seeking a proactive and creative Marketing Assistant to support the marketing department of a respected law firm. This is a fantastic opportunity for a junior‑level marketing professional to gain hands‑on experience across a wide range of marketing functions within a collaborative, fast‑paced team.
This role is primarily remote with a preference for candidates in the Central North Carolina area (Winston‑Salem, Greensboro, Raleigh). This is a contract role expected to last about 6 months with possible extension.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day‑to‑day support to the marketing team across administrative and creative functions.
Maintain calendars, track marketing initiatives, and assist with internal databases.
Support event coordination, including logistics, promotional materials, and follow‑up.
Assist with invoice processing, vendor communications, and proposal preparation.
Draft and schedule social media content (LinkedIn, X, Instagram); monitor engagement and performance.
Assist with website and intranet content updates.
Create digital and print materials using Canva; ensure brand consistency.
Compile and monitor marketing analytics; support CRM updates and list management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
1–3 years of marketing experience; law firm or professional services experience preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Canva.
Familiar with LinkedIn for business; experience with tools like WordPress, MailChimp, or HubSpot is a plus.
Strong writing, proofreading, and organizational skills.
High comfort level with AI tools such as ChatGPT.
Able to thrive in a deadline‑driven, independent, and collaborative environment.
