Maxxima
Description
At Maxxima we create innovative LED lighting and electrical technologies that change the way our customers illuminate their spaces. As a lifestyle brand, our photos and images must visually come to life. As a part‑time freelance photographer, you’ll collaborate with our marketing and creative teams to ensure images and design come together to achieve the best creative representation of our brand.
We’ll challenge you and put your best photography skills to the test as you shoot lighting fixture elements such as glass, metal, large fixtures, and white on white. Your goal is to effectively capture the functionality, features, benefits, and uniqueness of each individual product for a flawless visual presentation on digital platforms and print.
Candidates must have a portfolio with examples of work showing that you have experience shooting products. Experience shooting photography white on white is a plus. We are looking for a freelance or part‑time photographer for 1‑2 days per week.

Photograph LED lighting and electrical products onsite at our Hauppauge, NY facility.
Capture high‑quality, high‑resolution images optimized for both web and print applications within tight deadlines.
Identify and shoot the most effective angles to highlight key product features and design details.
Research comparable products on our website and competitor listings to recommend the most compelling angles and feature shots.
Maintain visual consistency by precisely matching angles and compositions across similar product lines.
Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute feature‑specific shots (e.g., control switches, illuminated displays, mounting details).
Share images in real time via Microsoft Teams for feedback and approval.
Export, label, and organize all final images according to established file type, naming, and server storage guidelines.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience in product photography
Strong product photography portfolio that demonstrates skill level and technical abilities
Demonstrated ability to shoot and perfect RAW images
Proficiency using available and artificial lighting techniques to achieve sharp and detailed photos of all products with optimal coloring and shadows
Must have collaborative and organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively
Strong ability to work under pressure and work within deadlines
Ability to receive direct and constructive feedback for optimal results
