As a Media Lead focused on TV/Mass Media marketing, you’ll develop and execute media strategies that resonate with communities across the country. You’ll lead planning and performance efforts for National & Local Humana & Centerwell campaigns, ensuring they reflect campaign needs while aligning with the brand.
This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with deep media expertise and a passion for achieving and exceeding campaign goals and objectives.
This role leads media strategy and execution; you will partner with internal teams, agencies, and analytics to deliver high-impact media that supports campaign goals, including member acquisition, retention or brand building efforts.
The Lead position requires an in-depth understanding of national and local DRTV and Digital media, specifically nuances by channel and by market that impact go-to-market strategies. The ideal candidate has experience with developing media objectives, stewarding multi-channel media campaigns, managing budgets, reviewing analytics, and guiding agency partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead development of National and Local media strategies across DRTV and Digital channels.
- Manage agency and vendor relationships, ensuring timely, high-quality execution of local initiatives.
- Analyze performance and optimize; eager to continuously improve by monitoring campaign performance and provide actionable insights to achieve media goals / business objectives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Lifecycle Marketing, Portfolio, Brand Marketing, Analytics, Product, Clinical, and Sales teams to ensure alignment and maximize impact.
- Present strategies and results to senior leadership, influencing investment and marketing priorities.

Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing, with at least 7 years in DRTV and Digital media strategy, planning, and execution.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics, media trends, and community engagement tactics.
- Demonstrated experience managing agency and vendor relationships, including oversight of campaign execution and performance.
- Experience working in highly regulated industries, with a strong grasp of compliance requirements in media.
- Experience developing omnichannel media plans that align with national brand strategy while addressing local needs.
Preferred
- Experience in healthcare or other regulated industry.
- Familiarity with national and local media strategies.
- Proficiency in media analytics and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of compliance in media campaigns.
- Proven experience with all media channels with specific expertise in either digital and DRTV media platforms and performance metrics.
Additional Information
- At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested.
- Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership.
- Employees who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
- Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
- Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $115,200 - $158,400 per year. This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
