Transcription Services - Copy Editor Join Social Media Ministries as a volunteer Transcription Services Copy Editor. Our goal is to reach the next generation with Bible messages through weekly YouTube sermons, social media, daily devotionals, blog posts, and podcasts. Company Description Social Media Ministries shares the living Word of God using social media to help people interpret Scriptures. The organization is guided by core beliefs such as the divinely inspired nature of the Bible and leading others to Jesus. Role Description Volunteer Transcription Editor responsible for editing and proofreading transcripts of Social Media Ministries sermons to ensure accuracy with the spoken content. Edit a 3,000- to 4,000-word document using Google Docs, following the Style Guide provided. Volunteer for 3 or more hours each week, aiming to edit 2 documents per week, or 1 document per week if unavailable. Qualifications Editing and proofreading skills Attention to detail and accuracy Excellent written communication skills Knowledge of Biblical scriptures and religious terminology Experience in content editing or transcription Ability to work effectively without supervision Requirements Native English Speaker Have a Gmail Account Follow instructions in the Style Guide Communicate via Google Chat #J-18808-Ljbffr
