We are hiring for a Designer for a top fashion company in New York, NY! Responsibilities Individual contributor position responsible for assisting in creating product designs and for achieving the style, appearance and fit characteristics of new products and improvements in existing products. Works under close direction. Often is assigned tasks rather than full responsibility for product line. Does perform some level of original concept development. Assists in identifying key color, fabric, prints, patterns and materials. Shops retail stores for trend inspiration. Partners closely with Technical Design to ensure correct fit and/or function and look of prototypes. Typically reports to Designer, typically no direct reports. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Design or equivalent experience. Intimates, sleepwear and loungewear background. 2-3 years design experience. CAD illustration skills, techpack creation (technical knowledge / knowledge of sleep construction / lounge construction as well as fully fashioned knowledge) - centric knowledge & efficiency.
