Travel Polysomnographic / Sleep Tech - $1,732 per week in Aurora, CO

Job Title: Registered Polysomnographic Technologist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: Polysomnographer / Sleep Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: 2 years required License: Not specified Certifications: AHA BLS, RPSGT required Must-Have: Traveler must be flexible with scheduling. Must be able to work weekends as required. Description: Natus experience required. Seven RTO days max approved. RTO is not allowed during specified periods. Schedule consists of three consecutive shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. Management will determine the specific days based on business needs. Open shifts may be available for traveler to pick up. No on-call requirement. Patient ratio for nights is 1:2 and weekends is also 1:2. Charting will be done in the designated electronic health record system. Daily census is approximately 10 patients. Experience with adult maintenance of wakefulness test is preferred. Experience with multiple sleep latency test is required. Skills in ECG, EEG, oxygen administration, and periodic limb movement monitoring are needed. Focus on patient education and infection control. Team support includes interpretation services and social services. Experience with complex sleep apnea and CPAP therapy is preferred.
