Chaffey College is seeking candidates for the adjunct faculty pool in the Communication Studies Department. Applicants are expected to meet the California State Community College Minimum Qualifications for Communication Studies instructors (below). Meeting the minimum qualifications does not guarantee employment or an interview.

Salary: $71.00 - $91.00 Hourly

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in speech, speech broadcasting, telecommunications, rhetoric, communication, communication studies, speech communication, or organizational communication; OR
• Bachelor’s in any of the above AND a Master’s in drama/theater arts, mass communication, or English; OR
• A valid lifetime credential that authorizes service as a Communications Studies Instructor in a California Community College; OR
• The equivalent; AND
• Demonstrated evidence of sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds in a community college environment.
