Duties and Responsibilities

  • Must be a US Citizen or possess current Work Authorization for the USA.
  • Assists Designers by facilitating projects and coordinating communication with all appropriate parties to ensure increased productivity.
  • Tags, organizes and manages project pictures and stores them in database.
  • Develop working knowledge of all products on the showroom floor, including but not limited to sizes, finishes, material, pricing and vendors.
  • Review Master Product Book and update as needed.
  • Organize tile, counter materials, door samples and finishes and update as appropriate.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors.
  • Order, track and confirm delivery of materials to jobsites for Designers.
  • Research materials, bathroom furniture, fixtures relative to cost, finish, availability and lead times.
  • Assist Designers with cabinetry orders by tracking, ETA’s, order confirmations, cabinet parts and materials.
  • Day shift.
  • Monday to Friday (Occasional Saturday’s).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18-25.00 per hour based on experience

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Impeccable attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel.
  • Must possess a "Whatever it takes" attitude!
  • Knowledge of Industry related technology & software is a plus!
  • Willingness to follow written and oral instructions.
  • Works independently, identifies problems, and creates solutions utilizing a positive attitude and discretion.
  • Ability to plan and coordinate work situations where numerous diverse demands are involved.
  • Strong written and verbal interpersonal skills.
  • Must have reliable transportation for events, site visits and training.
  • Knowledge of CAD and 20/20 software is a plus.

Desirable Qualifications

Education

This position requires a minimum of a High School diploma; Design related degree preferred.

Training in design related areas is desirable.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a residential design or remodeling environment preferred.
  • Bathroom, kitchen, flooring, plumbing, lighting and hardware industry experience a huge plus.
  • Familiarity with architectural, design, construction language and project management helpful.
  • Previous sale and/or design with decorative plumbing and hardware beneficial.
