About The Role

Metrics is seeking a Full Stack Web Developer to design, develop, and maintain dynamic web applications that support training, learning, and content delivery systems across our federal and enterprise clients. This role blends modern web development with instructional technology—ideal for someone who understands both software architecture and how people learn through interactive systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build user-centered web applications with integrated training or eLearning features.
• Develop clean, scalable front-end and back-end solutions using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (React, Vue, or Angular), and a modern backend framework (Node.js, Python/Django, .NET, etc.).
• Work with designers, subject matter experts, and instructional developers to translate learning requirements into web features.
• Create and maintain databases to support content management, user tracking, and progress reporting.
• Integrate web apps with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Implement accessibility, usability, and Section 508 compliance across all web-based content.
• Participate in Agile sprint cycles, code reviews, and version control using Git or Azure DevOps.
• Support system testing, documentation, deployment, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in full-stack web development (front-end + back-end).
• Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one modern backend language.
• Familiarity with databases (SQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB) and API development.
• Experience building or supporting training/learning systems, LMS, or instructional content portals.
• Understanding of UX/UI principles and accessibility standards.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Power Automate, or SharePoint development is a plus.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
