Job Summary The Project Manager will be responsible for providing planning or multidisciplinary architectural and engineering design services on multiple projects in support of the firm's facilities, aviation, and passenger rail and transit markets. Candidates should be able to provide project management for many different types of projects that may include higher education, commercial office, retail, industrial, aviation, transit, and maintenance facility design—including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, special systems, structural, and architectural design; site design including stormwater drainage and stormwater management design, utility design, and site features. In addition to planning and design responsibilities, the individual must be able to demonstrate the ability to manage multiple engineering and planning projects in addition to managing personnel, budgets, schedules, subconsultants, and necessary client interaction.
Project Manager Responsibilities
Lead internal and external projects in planning and design including architecture and engineering design
Organize and manage task workloads within established budget and schedule guidelines
Provide management of multiple tasks and the overall projects including staff of various practices and service lines within the company including rail and transit, building systems, structural, land development, environmental, and ports and waterways practices
Establish budgets forecasts, manpower estimates, and schedules
Lead communication between internal design practices and external consultants
Qualifications Project Manager Job Requirements:
Required – Bachelor of Architecture from an AAB Accredited Program
and/or licensure in the United States as either (details omitted)
Preferred – Minimum of 7 years of experience in Project Planning, Design and Construction projects with a minimum of 3 years of project management experience of facilities design projects
