Minimum qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
4 years of experience in compliance, risk management, investigation, auditing, legal, or consulting.
Preferred qualifications
Experience organizing data and applying business context to improve processes or operations.
About The Job The Google Compliance team ensures that our business aligns with current financial regulations. Comprised of multitaskers, this team balances Google's legal and compliance requirements with the dynamic needs of our users and the values of our company. As part of this team, you proactively identify pain points and gaps in existing policy frameworks and develop innovative solutions. You design efficient compliance systems and collaborate with other teams to implement these across the organization, ensuring that as Google pursues our next big idea, we always have our bases covered.
In this role, you will ensure that the company maintains oversight, governance, and meets all its legal and regulatory requirements. You will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams including Regulatory Affairs, Internal Audit, Legal, PSS (Privacy, Safety and Security), and other impacted Product Areas.
The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $107,000‑$153,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
Responsibilities
Execute and document compliance engagements, including developing specific test steps and preparing comprehensive documentation (workpapers, narratives, observations) under senior guidance.
Support technical validation of AI/ML and LLM systems for senior specialists.
Contribute to regulatory compliance testing for global laws, including the DSA, DMA, and EU AIA.
Analyze compliance risks to support remediation plan development, execution, and process improvements.
Collaborate with Product, Policy, and Risk teams, and propose 2LOD controls automation to mature the assurance methodology.
