Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well‑capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure‑play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin‑off is expected to be completed during 2025.

Job Description Job Duties

Provide Technical support of Vizrt, Flowics, and Unreal Engine graphic packages and systems

Develop, deploy, and troubleshoot the Template Database for all show packages

Candidate must have the ability to create VizRT scripts for live data integration in both Template Wizard and Viz Artist scenes

Extensive knowledge in Data pool and Shared memory on VizRT Platform

Build strong professional relationships with different shareholders involved in our different properties

Ability to train other shareholders in leveraging the use of Vizrt products and Flowics

On‑going maintenance and updating of existing on‑screen templates and User Interfaces

Have a passion for current news and entertainment stories

Must be a team player, flexible, and goal oriented with the ability to work with tight deadlines

Be aware of developing technologies within the industry and be passionate about integrating those into a live broadcast environment

Demonstrate a solid understanding of all aspects of television production and working within a live production environment

Support linear and digital platforms as needed

High level understanding of VBScript, HTML5 and Java Script. Candidate should be an expert in Template Wizard to manage and deploy show templates

Maintain technical system notes and communicate system maintenance, upgrades, and updates to the RTG team

This is a project/limited term position, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed.

This position is temporary for 4 months

Qualifications

Skilled across the entire VizRT platform and Flowics. Unreal Engine experience a plus

Engineering Degree or Diploma in Computer Sciences or similar

Operational and Technical expertise of the Vizrt Products

Minimum 5+ years of professional experience using VizRT or similar

Proficiency in Front‑end development for Producer‑driven templates in Realtime Platforms. Must have an in‑depth knowledge in coding using VB Script, HTML5 and JavaScript

Detail oriented, with ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with extremely tight deadlines

Good time management skills with the ability to organize, prioritize, and complete tasks in a timely manner

Candidate must be flexible with their schedule. Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
