DESCRIPTION Full-time Designer positions are available for project collaboration in all of our offices. Candidates must be committed to design excellence, interested in the crafts of architecture and engineering, and working familiarity with Revit and AutoCAD. This position assumes growth opportunities and mentorship towards licensure and beyond.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the development of design documentation of building(s), participating in the process from the idea phase to construction completion.

Produce models and 3D renderings for client presentation using Lumion, SketchUp, Enscape or Adobe Photoshop.

Create and Manage construction documents in BIM/Revit and/or AutoCAD.

Assist in the design documentation process working directly with Project Architects and other designers.

Assist with maintaining and updating drafting and design standards and templates.

Coordinate with other design disciplines to create a complete set of construction documents.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture required

At least 1 year of relevant architectural experience

Proficiency with design software including BIM/Revit as well as familiarity with Sketch-Up or other graphic programs like InDesign, Photoshop, etc.

Working knowledge of building codes and regulations, including ADA and Title 24 a plus

Strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and organizational skills

Effective written, graphic, and oral communication skills

Ability to work independently as well as under the direction of a project manager

Must have strong interpersonal skills and experience in coordinating with architectural and structural engineering team, clients, consultants, and contractors

$50,000 - $106,000 Annually

Actual offered salary for this position varies, depending on candidate’s qualification, education, position knowledge, work experience, skills, ability, work location, and internal incumbent compensation for similar roles. We do not anticipate individuals hired into this position will start at or near the top half of the range listed; the decision will be based on each individual case. Salary range listed does not include other compensation elements such as discretionary bonus opportunities, paid time off, medical insurance, and other wage and benefit opportunities.
