Role Description This independent contractor position is responsible for supporting a range of sales and marketing activities and, in concert with the manager and team, assisting in the execution of tactics that drive customer awareness, acquisition, and community engagement.

Primary responsibilities include assisting with the preparation and organization of training documents for employees—particularly sales teams and customer service representatives—supporting and delivering training sessions, coordinating logistics and planning for internal and external events, providing vendor management support, and maintaining consistency with brand standards across all initiatives. The coordinator also assists with the tracking, processing, and oversight of marketing‑related contracts and associated invoices, ensuring they move efficiently through required steps. In addition, the coordinator provides support to the sales team by coordinating the production and distribution of promotional materials and collateral, and helps maintain organized project timelines, deliverables, and documentation.

The position serves as an internal and external liaison, communicating marketing updates across departments, representing the company at community events, and engaging with vendors, customers, and partners in a professional manner.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Vendor Relations – Work with vendors to ensure services meet company requirements, monitor performance, and help identify new vendor partners as necessary and at the direction of the manager.

Contract Tracking & Oversight – Assist with routing, tracking, and processing marketing‑related contracts and invoices, monitoring their progress through internal systems, and maintaining organized records.

Sales Support – Coordinate the preparation and distribution of promotional materials, collateral, and resources to support sales and customer‑facing staff.

Sales Training – Assist in the preparation of training materials, assess training needs, and support or deliver training sessions as assigned.

Event Planning & Support – Plan and coordinate logistics for internal and external events in collaboration with department leadership; represent the company at events as assigned.

Other tasks may include supporting internal communications, conducting research on topics affecting the company, maintaining project trackers and status updates, compiling reports, assisting with sponsorship activations, and ensuring compliance with brand standards.

Qualifications

Knowledge of telecom industry practices, products, and competitive landscape.

Strong organizational and project management skills.

Ability to track and manage contracts, invoices, and vendor deliverables with accuracy.

Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with the ability to represent the company externally.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage timelines, documentation, and reporting.

Familiarity with brand standards and compliance considerations for promotional content.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other standard business applications.

Education and Experience

5 years of experience in marketing coordination, training support or delivery, event planning, contract or invoice administration, or project support, preferably in telecom or an agency setting.
