Job Description (North 40 Outfitters, Great Falls, MT) Full‑Time Salaried Category Marketing Manager – Farm & Ranch
We believe that each team member plays a vital role in the success of our company. We are looking for authentic and enthusiastic people who love our lifestyle and believe in service before self. As a Category Marketing Manager – Farm & Ranch you will use your robust knowledge and enthusiasm for the category to spearhead marketing initiatives within the Farm & Ranch category to drive sales and support strategic growth. You will be an integral part of the marketing team as a direct liaison to the corresponding Category Manager on the Purchasing Team.
This full‑time position requires the ability to work all scheduled shifts between Mon‑Fri 8 am to 5 pm. The shift can include weekends and certain holidays and will require flexibility in scheduling based on business needs.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain a close relationship with the Purchasing Category Manager to support strategic growth initiatives and brands to meet sales goals.
Attend Category Manager meetings and bring actionable, value‑added information back to the marketing team to spearhead initiatives.
Assist the Purchasing Category Manager to develop cooperative marketing plans.
Develop and execute the digital marketing strategy including social media, email, CRM list management, giveaways, forms, workflows, customer profiles, lifestyle and studio photo shoots, and content/blogging.
Enhance e‑commerce experience: oversee the publication of items to the website, develop and maintain standards for enhancing items on the website, ensure category landing pages are optimized and properly merchandised for the season, and bring focus and excitement to both new and core items.
Identify areas of opportunity within the category through use of sales reporting tools, Google Analytics, and HubSpot.
Desired Skills

Self‑starter who thrives on managing a multitude of tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
Eagerness to learn, grow and solve problems.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Related digital marketing, e‑commerce and photography experience – a plus.
