Job Description We are seeking an experienced and passionate
Design/Build Designer
to join our nationally recognized, award-winning design/build firm based in
Chatham, NJ . This full-time, onsite role is ideal for a creative and driven professional who specializes in
kitchen and bath design
and thrives in a collaborative, client-facing, fast-paced environment.
As a key member of our team, you will lead residential remodeling projects from concept to completion—translating client visions into functional, beautiful living spaces. You'll be responsible for
measuring, designing, presenting, selling, and processing cabinetry and product orders , while working closely with clients, architects, and internal teams to ensure excellence in design and execution.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage residential design/build projects from inception to completion.
Measure on-site spaces and create custom kitchen and bath designs.
Present concepts and material selections to clients and guide them through the decision-making process.
Process orders for cabinets and other design materials accurately and efficiently.
Collaborate closely with clients, in-house teams, and contractors to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
Interpret and work from architectural drawings, plans, and construction documents.
Maintain accurate project documentation, schedules, and communications.
Stay informed about current design trends, materials, and product innovations in the remodeling industry.
Occasionally work Saturdays, depending on project needs.
Qualifications
Minimum 2+ years of experience in kitchen & bath design or residential design/build remodeling.
Solid understanding of the semi-custom cabinetry market.
Proficient in AutoCAD; experience with Chief Architect is highly desirable.
Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction documents.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a client-focused mindset.
Creative, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven.
Industry certifications (CKD, CKBD, CMKBD) are a plus.
