Community Manager Responsibilities
Personnel Management: screen, hire, train, coach, and develop on‑site staff.
Financial Management: achieve highest possible net operating income through cost control and revenue & leasing improvement; develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts.
Strategic Leasing Management: develop marketing plan; implement resident retention programs.
Administrative & Maintenance Management: head emergency team; monitor service request turnaround; maintain property appearance.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred or four‑year experience in housing industry; or one to two years related experience.
Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
Basic computer skills; knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.
Ability to understand and perform all on‑site software functions.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to stand, walk, sit, lift up to 25 pounds; occasional stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl.
