Job Title: SAP Technical Writer
Duration: 6 Months (Possible Extension)
Mandatory Requirements
Minimum of 2 Years as a Technical Writer
Proven experience in creating clear, concise, and accurate documentation tailored to technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to produce business process manuals, user guides, training materials, and technical specifications. Strong editing, organizational, and multitasking skills to manage multiple documentation efforts simultaneously. Demonstrated collaboration with cross-functional teams in IT or business environments.
Experience in at Least One SAP Project (Business Process Documentation)
Prior experience documenting business processes within an SAP implementation or support project. Familiarity with SAP environments, modules, and terminology to effectively translate technical concepts into user-friendly documentation. Experience with SAP-aligned process mapping and documentation tools.
Technical Requirements
Knowledge of
SAP modules (ECC and/or S/4HANA). Strong understanding of business operations and workflows (preferably within utilities or similar industries). Proficiency in mapping and analyzing complex business processes. Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts. Hands-on experience with documentation tools (e.g., process mapping software, document management systems). Proficiency with screenshot and image editing tools for enhanced documentation. Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet tight project deadlines. Desirable Qualifications
Background in SAP Hands-on
SAP experience
is highly desirable, particularly with
ERP and S/4HANA environments. Knowledge of
SAP system architecture , module functionalities, and integration points. Ability to anticipate system impacts and support user adoption through precise documentation. SAP Certifications (Preferred but not required)
Certifications such as
SAP Certified Application Associate (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, or S/4HANA Business Process Integration). Validates expertise in SAP methodologies, best practices, and industry standards. Certified candidates are more adept at capturing SAP nuances and system configurations for accurate documentation. Address
