Tiered Support:
Respond to service desk and IT support tickets for all audiovisual-related issues (conference rooms, events, digital signage). Technology R&D:
Research, evaluate, and recommend new AV technology for current and future facility projects. Process Improvement:
Define and deploy new SOPs for AV infrastructure. Project Management:
Manage new facility AV build-outs from design through implementation. System Engineering:
Design, configure, and optimize audiovisual environments for reliability and user experience. Daily Operations:
80% of your time will be spent on day-to-day support and troubleshooting; 20% on projects, process improvement, and administrative tasks. Event Production:
Coordinate and produce AV support for internal events. Lifecycle Management:
Oversee AV device upgrades, replacements, and retirements. Facilities/Move Coordination:
Manage AV aspects of facility moves, adds, or changes. Collaboration:
Coordinate with architecture, facility, and IT teams for space improvement and AV integration. Required Qualifications
5+ years’ experience in installing, maintaining, and coordinating AV equipment. 4+ years’ project coordination and/or project management experience. 4+ years’ experience in AV system design and development. 5+ years’ supporting large-scale, high-impact events and productions. Demonstrated experience with video walls and GSOC/VNOC environments. Experience with risk, change, vendor, regulatory compliance, and budget management. Strong knowledge of Q-SYS, Dante, livestreaming software (Wirecast, OBS), and live video switchers (Ross Carbonite, Blackmagic). Experience with video editing software (DaVinci Resolve). Proficient in AV cable terminations, diagnostic tools, and general hand tools. Expertise in DSPs, AV controllers, signal flow, and routed AV systems. Ability to prioritize, execute, and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations. Strong customer relationship management skills (calm and solutions-focused under pressure). Excellent written documentation and cross-training skills. Willingness to adapt quickly to changing priorities and deadlines and respond flexibly to urgent issues as they arise. Proven ability with Zoom, Teams, Webex, and other video collaboration platforms. Desired
Bachelor’s degree in audiovisual technology, facilities management, or related field. Certifications such as Network+, CCNA, CTS, CTS-D, Dante Level 3. Experience in technology or construction fields. Additional industry certifications (e.g., Crestron, Biamp, CQT, Extron, QSC, Shure). Knowledge of networking, firewalls, proxy, NDI, NVX, HLS, RTMP, PTP. Additional Information
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. - Travel: Up to 25%, as required. - On-Site: This is an on-site role at our Florida facility. Benefits
