These stations reach tens of thousands of listeners via over‑the‑air and streaming delivery. Many local businesses advertise with us to effectively promote their goods and services. Position Overview
CUMULUS MEDIA | Florence has an immediate opening for a full-time Local Marketing Account Executive who thrives in a fast-paced environment. We seek a passionate, motivated, goal-oriented, and highly competitive individual with a proven track record of overachieving sales goals. Able to identify client business needs by understanding goals, objectives, processes, and external market trends to proactively develop customized marketing solutions. Deliver and develop effective marketing solutions via multi‑platform, integrated sales presentations that include Cumulus broadcast, digital, and event tactics to foster brand loyalty and deliver results. Negotiate and close business that drives revenue and builds long-term client relationships across all media. Develop a proficient understanding of Cumulus Media assets and resources; continually learn to stay current with industry advertising opportunities. Represent the full suite of products and services as marketing solutions to new and existing clients, including station digital assets, internet marketing, social media, streaming, events, and specialized programming. Time management to optimize revenue opportunities, client interaction, and fulfillment of sales agreements; assist in developing creative messaging across platforms. Prospect actively to maintain a full sales pipeline through networking, cold calling, canvassing, referrals, and other methods. Follow station and corporate procedures for orders, billing issues, reporting on sales, pipeline lists, forecasts, and competitive analysis. Collaborate to represent the brand and help clients achieve success. Qualifications
1–2 years in media sales preferred Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office, social platforms, and CRM tools Excellent communication skills Passion for developing new business relationships in outside sales Experience presenting sales opportunities and post-sale successes Strong lead generation and prospecting abilities Understanding of sales metrics to maintain a healthy sales funnel Self-motivated and entrepreneurial spirit Positive, collaborative attitude; high energy and a customer-focused approach Flexible, creative, and curious; digitally savvy What We Offer
