Overview
Urban Foundry Architecture is an ambitious Austin-based design firm focused on urban architecture and interiors. We offer driven, creative designers and architects the opportunity to propel their careers forward by working on diverse projects and providing opportunity for greater responsibility than larger firms. We are looking towards the rest of 2025 with excitement over several marquee architectural projects. Urban Foundry’s primary focus is urban architecture, and we have a solid history of providing great design for our clients and are looking for the right people to help us strive toward our mission of Great Design in Urban Places and our vision for growth and expertise.
Responsibilities
Work both individually in a self-directed role on smaller projects as well as working in a continuously collaborative environment on larger project teams and report directly to an Architectural Project Manager.
Develop design and construction documents for almost all project types – Office, Retail, Restaurant, Multi-family, and Mixed-use developments.
Participate in Permitting and Construction to help ensure project quality and success.
Coordinate directly with Urban Foundry’s Interior Design Studio.
Be mentored toward a future role as Project Manager/ Project Architect.

Qualifications
3-5 years of relevant work experience
Professional degree in Architecture
Excellent communication skills
Proficient in Revit, Enscape, BIM 360, and Bluebeam
Knowledgeable with Construction Documents
Lumion, SketchUp, and Adobe skills are strongly desired
