In this position, under the supervision of the UCLA Cardiac Imaging Physicians, you will perform all 2-dimensional echoes, M-mode, and Doppler studies. Responsibilities include notifying Cardiac Imaging Physicians for any urgent and/or Pre-Operative Echo Readings, preparing preliminary interpretation of those studies, and maintaining records pertinent to echo studies. You will also perform other duties as assigned by the UCLA Cardiac Imaging Physicians and Manager. Salary: $58.53-$77.26 per hour Qualifications

Required: Graduate of Cardiac Echocardiography Technology Program Adult: ARDMS-RDCS (AE) Pediatrics: ARDMS-RDCS (PE) At least 3 years of Adult or Pediatric/Fetal echo tech experience BLS Card from AHA or ARC Knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology Ability to apply ultrasound techniques to clinical evaluation Ability to maneuver the echo machine within the office environment Manual dexterity to manipulate transducer and machine controls effectively Proficiency in PC and word processing software for report generation Ability to make preliminary evaluations of echo studies and generate reports Ability to maintain logs, track charges, and ensure proper billing and collection Ability to work independently and complete tasks timely Strong interpersonal skills for professional interactions Ability to interpret and follow physician orders and policies Certification in basic cardiac life support (BCLS)
