The Accountant will be responsible for the company's accounting practices and procedures, preparation of consolidated monthly financial statements, management reports, and maintenance of internal controls. The employee will collaborate with managers to ensure proper accounting for project costs. Must uphold DAL's commitment to a zero-incident safety and environmental culture. Responsibilities

Prepare all monthly financial management reports (balance sheet, income statement, cash flows). Reconcile general ledger accounts monthly. Manage Accounts Payable to ensure accurate and timely processing of payables, including invoice entry and statement reconciliation. Manage Accounts Receivable to ensure accurate and timely billing and cash receipt processing. Assist with filing payroll tax reports with approval from the Business Manager. Prepare schedules and workpapers for the annual financial audit. Develop and use internal controls and audits to ensure compliance with GAAP and accounting standards. Maintain fixed asset records, manage purchases, and calculate depreciation and amortization. Utilize large databases effectively and accurately. Enhance procedures for efficient processing of accounting data and internal controls. Identify and resolve accounting risks. Assist in developing, implementing, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Support the Business Manager and Senior Management in financial presentations. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum 2 years of accounting experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; quick learner of Spectrum accounting software. Understanding of corporate and construction project accounting. Physical Demands & Working Conditions

The role involves sitting, using hands, talking, reaching, and occasional lifting of 25-50 pounds. Work is primarily in an office setting with routine walking, standing, and bending. Additional Information
