Job Family STAFF - Support Staff Grade HI Salary $15.72 - $21.59 Department Dance - NWSA Reports To Dean of Dance, NWSA Closing Date Open Until Filled FLSA Status Non-Exempt First Review Date May 13, 2025Position Overview The Part-Time Music Coach/Accompanist will serve as coach/accompanist in the Music, Theater and Dance Department. This individual must demonstrate an advanced level of performing and proficiency as a pianist and accompanist. What you will be doing

Accompanies private music lessons and/or classes Coaches and accompanies music students Participates in and accompanies student juries and recitals Accompanies rehearsals and performances Participates in and accompanies auditions Performs other duties as assigned What you need to succeed

Demonstrated experience as a professional musician and/or educational credential in accompanying, and/or at least two (2) years experience in accompanying in the area of interest Ability to work well with students, faculty and staff Must possess excellent organizational skills Experience coaching and accompanying advanced instrumental and vocal students, including in-depth knowledge of repertoire, historical and stylistic expertise Additional Requirements
