The Music Department at Simpson University seeks qualified adjunct faculty to teach music classes or lessons. The ideal candidates will demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching.

Expertise in music as demonstrated through educational and/or professional experience

Supervises employees in accordance with Simpson University policies and procedures
Support the overflow needs of other departments within the respective university area
Perform other duties in accordance with this position as deemed necessary by the President
Responsibilities
Teach classes/lessons as assigned and fulfill teaching responsibilities (as needed) including class/lesson preparation, instruction, grading, and office hours
Provide additional academic support to students as needed
Foster a classroom environment that supports student engagement and growth
Comply with all university policies, procedures, and expectations
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Department Chair
Physical Requirements
Indoors in a controlled environment
Salary : $26 hourly
