Overview
Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional
orchestral strings instructor
to teach part-time at
Riverdale Music Academy , in Riverdale, New Jersey. This is an in-person teaching position. Schedule and responsibilities
Available for a minimum of two 4-hour teaching blocks on a weekly basis. Teaching blocks are Monday through Friday from 3:15pm to 7:45pm. Standard lesson runtime is 45 minutes; early childhood lessons (ages 4-9) are 30 minutes. Provide consistent instruction; preference will be given to candidates with greater availability. Qualifications
Degree in music performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience. Demonstrated love of teaching and experience working with young musicians. Strong punctuality, reliable transportation, and ability to pass a routine background check. Compensation and benefits
Instructor pay is commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $30-37/hour. A 401(k) program with employer matching is available after 90 days on the job. Health benefit packages are available for all part- and full-time employees at Ensemble. About Ensemble Schools
