TEMPORARY

for approximately 3 months, due to the demand of the California fires, but may work into a full time position. Job Overview: A Restoration Contents Associate assists the contents technicians and supervisor to monitor, inspect and complete tasks for restoration jobs to ensure completion of cleaning, pack-out of contents and various fire restoration activities. The Contents Associate assists with documentation to include notes, photos and documents according to company policies and procedures to ensure reimbursement from insurance companies, as well as explains processes used to complete active jobs and next steps to resolution in person to customers. Duties and Responsibilities: Work under supervision in residential and commercial settings handling personal property (contents) as follows: Assists with work orders, ensures appropriate equipment and supplies are loaded on truck needed for job. Completes assigned jobs according to company processes while maintaining quality control on each job with urgency. Inventory, pack, transport customer belongings per company guidelines. Restore, clean and deodorize personal belongings per company guidelines. Track and document contents throughout the restoration process. Perform fire/smoke damage repair and tasks including cleaning of customers' homes and businesses, pack-out of contents, and removing/disposing of non-salvageable materials, as directed by supervisor. Assist in ensuring equipment, supplies, vehicles, and products are properly handled. Help to ensure customer satisfaction and obtaining any necessary documentation. Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, and communicate customer issues and daily job activities with supervisor and key company staff. Skills and Qualifications: Dry Cleaning experience preferred but not required. Ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment. Good attitude. Attention to detail is critical. Availability and reliability. Valid Drivers’ License and satisfactory driving record. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to be active all day. Some knowledge of the disaster restoration industry. Must be able to prioritize activities and meet deadlines. Report to work on time in a clean, complete uniform. Read and follow product label usage instructions. Physical Demands and Working Conditions: Move up to 70 pounds often, by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise repositioning objects. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Lifting, squatting, crawling and crouching is required. Express or exchange ideas with others and receive and act on detailed information given. For safety reasons, respirators, which are used in certain situations, must be able to seal to your face.
